She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Curtis and Sadie Jane Benfield Curtis; her husband Jack Austin; her children, Crystal Austin (Robert) of Jamestown, Kimberly Ferrell (Chuck) of High Point, Amber Cornwell (Don) of Winston-Salem and Wayne Phillips (Debbie) of Mt. Gilead; her stepchildren, Jerry, Dee, Joey, Joanie and Becky; her brother Jerry Curtis of North Carolina; and her daughter Terri Phillips. She was also cherished by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
