He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Pitts Martin and Kathleen Hanna Martin; his former wife Ann Helderman Martin; and his wife Julia Broadway Martin. He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Martin of High Point and Amy Martin of High Point; his stepchildren, Everette Furr of Thomasville and Wendy Beck (Randy) of Thomasville; his granddaughters, Stephanie Riggs Loflin (Jon) and Faith Riggs; and his great grandchild Charles Jay Loflin. He is also survived by four step children, and five step great grandchildren.
