He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandy" Daniels Smith; his children, Connie Turner (Todd) of Groton, MA and Jason Smith (Lisa) of Whittsett; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Smith, Landon Smith, Thomas Turner, Daniel Turner and Julie Turner; and his siblings, Betty Bardo (Rodger) of Thousand Oaks, CA, Brenda Walker (Alvin) of Monroe, NC and Darrell Smith (Jenny) of Archdale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
