We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2020, at the age of 102, Leodis Washington (High Point, North Carolina), born in Panola, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sons, Roosevelt, Jr. of Washington and Bobby of Washington; and her siblings, George Turner, Mary Stanton, Mattie Lee Williams, Clara Conway and Laura Mae Stanton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Quarles of Michigan, Lueada Rogers (Arthur) of Spartanburg, SC, Betty Stanton of Chicago, IL, Sadie (Melvin) of High Point, NC and Lillie Mae Atkins of Michigan; and her daughter-in-law Clara of Saginaw, MI. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; twenty-seven great-great-grandchildren.
