He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Paul Vitt and Anne Marie Adamaitis Vitt; and his brothers, David and Stanley Vitt. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Vitt; his children, Thomas Vitt (Cindy Hull) of South Carolina, Mary Edmonds (Tim) of Greensboro and James Vitt (Amy) of Arizona; his grandchildren, Emily Edmonds, John Edmonds and Lily Vitt; and his sister-in-law Irene Vitt.
