Carter; his great grandchildren, Delande G. Hawkins Jr., Jayce D. Hawkins, Jonas D. Hawkins and Paulli Grace Rose Bulow; his sisters, Catherine Jacobs and Mildred Drayton Ogdon; and his parents-in-law, Julia Mae Bridges, Alice Mae Bridges, Asalee Bridges, James Jacobs and Frank Dixon. He is also survived by step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
