She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Ward and Mary Elizabeth Ward; her husband Sherman Ross Hancock; her son Sherman Wayne Hancock; and her siblings, Virgil Ward, Albion Ward, Helen Ward and Anne Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Harold Hancock and Theron Hancock of High Point; and her brother Howard Ward of Ferguson.
