It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Artis (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on November 4, 2020, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Moore and Essie Futrell Moore; her mother-in-law Barbara Jean Clinard; her siblings-in-law, Freddie Speight and Josephine Annette Artis; and her niece Trin Fennell.
She is survived by: her husband James Artis; her children, Roderick Moore Shawn Moore Sr. (Tonya) and Rodericka Jones Danielle Artis (Andre) of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, Jailen Robinson, Modeste Moore, Shawn Moore Jr., Makahlen Moore, Caidyn Grubich, Nyles Stewart, Devon Moore, Jaquan Moore, Andre Jones, II and Amari Jones; her siblings, Betty Wilson (Charles), Cathy Speight, Katie Fennell (Norfleet), Arlene Moore, Phyllis Moore, Frankie Moore and James Moore; and her sisters-in-law, Janet Askew (Tasha) and Judy Artis.
