It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lorraine Saunders (High Point, North Carolina), born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on December 10, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas R. Proctor and Bessie Stalker Proctor; her husband George Franklin Saunders; her siblings, R. V., Clyde, McKinley, Bobby, Elmer Proctor, Arlene Moore, Maxine Robbins, Hazel Whitfield, Virginia White and Lavata Babson; her children, David Saunders (Patti) of High Point and Vickie Saunders (Darrell) of High Point; her grandchildren, Layne Ros (Billy) and Ryan Saunders; and her great grandchildren, Oliver and Hattie Ros. She was also cherished by mother, being "Memaw" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
