She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Cameron Hazlett and Hazel Sober Hazlett; her former husband James Harold Heston, Jr.; and her husband Arthur Cools. She is survived by: her daughter Gayle Heston Mayberry of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Ashley Owens (Bill) and James Thomas Mayberry, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Steven Martin, Samantha Martin and Abby Martin.
