She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Damm and Charles Damm (Frank); her sister Jane Welter; and her granddaughter Christine O'Connor DesVergers. She is survived by: her husband Frank H. O (Connor, Jr.); her sons, Dennis and Kevin O'Connor (Madeline) of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Sean (Emily) of Summerfield, NC, Colleen Terry (Paul) of Greensboro, NC and Matt DesVergers of Raleigh, NC.; and her great grandchildren, Will, Connor DesVergers of Raleigh, NC, Mason, Taylor Ann, Hayes O'Connor and Maggie Terry of Greensboro, NC..
Certainly, a member of the "Greatest Generation," Margaret epitomized the optimism and determination exhibited by so many born in the early 20th century who faced the terror of depressions, wars, and even a pandemic.
