It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Giles (High Point, North Carolina), born in Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on August 15, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin Delano Giles; her parents, James Wiley Brooks and Ola Melton Brooks; and her brother Wiley Truett Brooks. She is survived by: her children, Amy Giles Howard (Phillip) and James Franklin Giles (Sevgi); her grandchildren, Owen Howard, Samuel Howard, Lily Howard, Patrick Giles and Henry Giles; her sister Amy Marie Brooks; her sister-in-law JoAnne White Brooks; and her sibling's children, Leslie Brooks, Diane Hogan, Wiley Brooks and David Brooks.
