She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Blalock and Dora Bales Blalock; her husband Mack Bryan Henderson; and her brothers, John Edd Blalock and L. E. Blalock.

She is survived by: her daughter Debbie; her son-in-law Bobby Irvin of High Point; her granddaughters, Hannah Irvin of Atlanta and Sarah Wood (Surry) of Raleigh; her great grandchildren, Margaret Wood and Charlotte Wood of Raleigh; her sister Betty Jo Justus of Seymour, Tennessee; and her sisters-in-law, Katie Cook Blalock of Sevierville and Dorothy Henderson Yarberry of Kodak, Tennessee. She is also survived by two nieces and four nephews.
