She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Beaver and Louise Shell Beaver. She is survived by: her siblings, Wayne and Patsy; her husband Wayne Spivey of Albemarle, NC; her daughters, Emily Spivey Philbrook (Scott) and Rev. Amy Spivey Moore (Tim); her grandchildren, Laura-Clare Moore and Rowan Philbrook; and her brother Professor Frank Beaver of Ann Arbor, MI. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
