He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Fernando and Lillian Coburn Andrews; and his wife Fredericka "Freddie" DeLappe Andrews. He is survived by: his children, Richard Andrews (Renee Hyde Allen) of High Point, Leigh Andrews (Mike Slack) of High Point and Nancy Andrews of Wilmington, NC; his siblings, R. Kenneth Andrews of Seattle, WA and Lucy Christine Ogborn of Archdale; his grandchildren, Taylor Leigh Towery, Sarah Stuart Towery-Woodley and Nathan R. McGee; and his great grandchildren, Anna D. Figueroa-Towery and Odin S. Woodley.
In lieu of flowers the family request that Memorials be made to Hospice of the Piedmont 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point NC 27262.
