We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2021, at the age of 84, Norman Wampler of High Point, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Kyle Wampler and Bess Thelma Heldreth Wampler; his wife Elaine Kearns Wampler; and his sister Emma Money. He is survived by: his sons, Byron E. Wampler (Lawson) of New York and Steven W. Wampler (late Shellie) of Powhatan, Virginia; his grandchildren, Heather Ailor (Sandy), Brandon Wampler (Jessica) and Justin Wampler; his great grandchildren, River, Luke, Sawyer Wampler, Adley Grace and Evie Faith Ailor; his siblings, Dr. Garland Wampler (Mary Ann), Clayton Wampler (Lois), Martha Ann Wampler and Joseph Wampler; and his siblings' children, Elizabeth Thompson (Bob) and Edward Kimsey (Julie).

Due to Covid pandemic masks are encouraged.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to YMCA of High Point, Cheerio Nation, or Boy Scouts of America, Old North State Council, Friends of Scouting.
