She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Hardin Sams and Ruth Campbell Sams; her husband J. A. Key; and her brother Bobby Sams. She is survived by: her sons, Johnny Key (Karen), Donald Key (Donna) and Gary Key; her grandchildren, Jessica Martinez (Rudy), Brian Key (Brittany) and Joey Key; and her siblings, Peggy Davis and Bill Sams (Chris). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
