She was predeceased by: her husband Edmund Lowe; her siblings, Jack Lee Summey and Betty Ann Brown Hayes; and her daughter Carol Lowe Hoover (Francis Hoover). She is survived by: her sister Peggy Summey Cole of Winston Salem; her stepbrother Delbert Summey of Panama City; her children, Diane Gainey (Frank Gainey) of Morehead City, Suzanne Lowe (Heather McIver) of Silk Hope, Rick Lowe (Kierston Lowe) of Pinehurst and Douglas Lowe (Mandy Lowe) of Greensboro; and her grandchildren, Alicia Gainey, Frank Gainey Jr., Casey Ann Henriques Pearce, Nicolas Hoover, Sarah Hoover Sides, Jonathon Thomas, Lauren Lowe, Annika McIver Lowe and Celie McIver Lowe.
