He was loved and cherished by many people including: his great-grandparent Jeremiah "Jerry" Butler; his stepmother Mildred Butler; his sister Lucille Michaels; his wife Margrette Harris Butler; his children, Kristina Roberson (Gerald), Jeremy Butler and Adrian Butler (Devyn); his grandchildren, India Johnson, JT Butler, Elijah Alston, DeAyres Butler, Gerald Roberson II, Jeremyah Butler, Avyn Butler, Myles Cox and Malcolm Cox; his great grandchild Zy'ere Alston; his siblings, Virginia Montague, Linda Boyd (Calvin Chambers), Rose Gainey (Jessie), Lonnie Butler (Lisa) and Ricky Butler; and his brother-in-law Frenchie Michaels. He was also cherished by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
