He was predeceased by: his mother Sadie Taylor Alley; his wife Sadie Surratt Taylor; and his son Dennis Duane Taylor. He is survived by: his daughters, Angela T. Dobbins (Gary) of High Point, Dana T. Long (Tim) of Winston-Salem and Cindy T. Hopkins (Chip) of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Tracy, Brad, Jaclyn, Joni, Lauren, Logan and Luke; his great grandchildren, Ally, Anna, Aubrey, Harrison, Sawyer, Nolan, Davis, Gracie, Ellie, Rosie, Abe, Vivian, Grayson and Levi; and his great great grandchild Ivy.
