He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Yvette "Eve" Rand (Rajotte); his siblings, Nancy Dolson (Rand) of Virginia Beach, VA and William "Bill" Rand (Martha "Marti"); his children, Kevin (Paula), James (Victoria), Janice (David Vaughn), Timothy (Sandra Murore), Betsy (James Morrison) of Bonita Springs, FL and Peter (Jennifer Pultz) of Portland, OR; and his parents, George Bradford Rand and Mae Madelyn Butler Rand of Forestville, CT. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; and 9 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be directed to the Resident Care Campaign at Pennybyrn (109 Penny Road, High Point, NC 27260), assisting residents who have exhausted their own financial resources or to Christ the King Catholic Church (1505 MLK Jr. Drive, High Point, NC 27260).
