He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert James Greene and Mary Alice Osborn Greene. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Branson Greene; his son Richard "Skip" Greene, Jr. (Angie) of Archdale; his siblings, Jerry Greene of Florida, Randy Greene (Debbie) of Wallburg and Bonnie Wilson of Hope Mills; his granddaughters, Lexi Greene, Averie Greene and Casey West (Mason); and also Marti Holton Durham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
