He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Teague and Lessie Maness Teague; his wife Jackie Hill Teague; his son David Ricky Teague; and his siblings, Carl Teague and Daisy Fritch.
He is survived by: his daughter Robin Teague of High Point; his grandchildren, Tabitha Stephenson and David Grolimund; and his great grandchildren, Tiashania Stephenson, Jacobie Stephenson and Kayden Dunlap.
