He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Adams Hilliard Sr. and Leona Outlaw Hilliard; his son Robert "Lee" Hilliard Jr.; and his brother Lonnie Adams Hilliard Jr.. He is survived by: his son Todd Adams Hilliard (Kim); his daughter-in-law Jodie Hilliard Jr. (Lee); his sister Barbara Hilliard Whitson of High Point; and his grandchildren, Drew Michael Hilliard of Charlotte, Allison Hilliard Hobbs (Jordon) of Winston-Salem and Robert Lee Hilliard III of High Point.
