It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Smith of High Point, North Carolina, born in Conway, North Carolina, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Smith and Lois Boyce Smith; and his wife Betty Jean Longstreet Smith. He is survived by: his children, Steve Smith (Karen) of Wake Forest, Richard Gregory Smith (Louise) of Falls Church, VA and Cathy; his grandchildren, Ben Smith (Elizabeth), Jennifer Smith, Meredith Godbee (Richard), Angela, Rachel Smith and Arthur Smith; and his great grandchildren, Harrison Smith and Evelyn Smith.
