He was predeceased by: his wife Violet Louise Norman Kelley; his parents, Roy Kelley and Lorene Dobbins Kelley; his son David E. Kelley; his grandson Steven Brian Kelley; his siblings, Maxine Moser, Christine Hicks, James Kelley and Robert Kelley; and his daughter-in-law Anne Kelley.

He is survived by: his children, Edd Kelley and Linda Carroll; and his brother Clyde Kelley. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Green Street Baptist Church.
