He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Margaret McInnis Banks; his wife Camilla Myers; his children, Leanne Yates of Columbia and John Edward Banks of Myrtle Beach; his sister Rita Fleming of Cape Cod, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Tristan and Kailey Yates; his stepsons, Daniel Black of Greensboro and David Black of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his brother David Banks.
