With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Lee Rutherford (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on April 1, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Hestel Rutherford; his parents, Nellie Johnson Rutherford and James Rutherford; and his grandson Bradley Scott Rutherford. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Rutherford (Nancy) of Marana, AZ and Evon Tims (Scott) of High Point; his grandchildren, Darren Welch (Katie) of Kernersville, NC, Chad Welch (Cindy) of Thomasville, NC and Ashley McCormick of Las Vegas, NV; and his great grandchildren, Ryan McCormick, Kennedy Welch, Jada Welch, Javin Welch, Kenan Bree Welch, Harrison Welch and Noah Pruette.
