She was predeceased by: her parents, John Holder and Bessie Goldman Holder; her husband John Edward Atkins, Jr.; and her siblings, Dean, Huette Holder, Lanette Jones and Betty Stalcup.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Atkins, Kathy Baker and Linda Church (Robbie); her grandchildren, Robbie Baker (Erin), Ashley Church (Tanya), Kelly Trollinger (Zach) and Kyle Church (Alex); and her great grandchildren, Liam, Jacob Baker, Isabella and Rebekah Trollinger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
