She was predeceased by: her parents, Vestal Ray and Willie Norman Inman; her husband James Edgar Key; her children, Linda Key Watson, Margie K. Williams and Ronnie E. Key; and her sister Patsy Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Ray Key, James Allen Key and Teresa Pennell of Thomasville; and her siblings, Virginia Howett of Mt. Airy, Brenda Beasley of Mt. Airy, Susie Whitaker of Archdale, Janice Tollison of High Point and Phillip Ray Inman (Geneva) of Mt. Airy. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
