He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace H. Dean and Sybil Sheffield Dean. He is survived by: his wife Maria Dean; his siblings-in-law, Maria Hortensia S. Boudy and Felix Emilio S. Boudy; and his niece Angelina Maria Boudy. He is also survived by husband and wife; they were partners in life and best friends.
