He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter S. Elledge and Carrie Staley Elledge; and his siblings, John Staley, Maurice Staley, Walter Elledge, Jim Elledge, Pete Elledge, Toby Carpenter and Syble Hayworth.
He is survived by: his sister Lena Grubb of High Point; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Beard of High Point and Sue Edwards of High Point.
