He was predeceased by: his parents, Homa Hester and Dorothy Cowan Hester; and his daughter Amy Nicole Hester. He is survived by: his children, Richard Hester and Sarah DeLong (Chris); his grandchildren, Maggie, Avery, Marty and Kayleigh Hester; and his siblings, Barbara Brown, Judy Clodfelter, Robbie Hester (Susan), Patti Soto and Toni Creasy (Donnie).
