Vernon York Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2019, at the age of 90, Vernon York (High Point, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh York and Ethel Miranda Parsons York. He is survived by: his son Alan Green; his sisters, Ollie Aremtrout and Zula Bullock; his granddaughter Danielle Scarr; his wife Faye Pierce York; and his daughters, Sandi Scarr (Brad) of Florida, Susan Bright (Robert) of Emerald Isle, Kay Scott (Hans) of Canton and Cindy McPherson (Kevin) of Virginia. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and 0ne great-great-grandchild.
