He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lois Little and William McIllwaine Blanton; his sons, William McIllwaine Blanton III (Carrie Courter Blanton) of Bellevue, WA and Charles McAnally Blanton (Hannah Phillips Blanton) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Ashely Courter Blanton, Katherine McAnally Blanton, Virginia Phillips Blanton, Charles McAnally Blanton Jr. and Brown Patrick Blanton; and his sister Nancy Blanton Brooks.
