He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Colbert Davis and Nancy Shuford Davis; his wife Cora Mae Davis Overby; his stepdaughter Marzell Davis; and his sister Carol Sue Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Willie Davis, Jr. of Middletown, NY, Teresa Davis of Poughkeepsie, NY, Arnetha Davis of Poughkeepsie, NY and Jason Wansley (Sotonya Wansley) of Winston-Salem, NC; his stepson Ulysses Davis of Poughkeepsie, NY; and his siblings, Evelyn Jean Davis Hopkins of Newark, NJ and Timothy Earl Davis (Karen Davis) of High Point, NC. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
