She is survived by: her husband Jack Abernathy; her daughter Patty Moody (Tim) of Morganton; her grandchildren, Ashley Gallion (Brandon) and Tim Moody Jr. (Hayley); her great grandchild Jack Moody; and her brother Roy "Buck" Lail (Faye).
