We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2021, at the age of 87, Billy Joe Short of Hildebran, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter C. Short and Zeppe Clontz Short; and his siblings, Lester William "Speed" Short, Eldon Short, Vernon Short, Larry Short, Ann Canipe, Vera Knox, Polly Davis and Janelle Pope.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Dean Jarrett Short; his granddaughters, Sara Beth Suddreth, Anna Brooke Suddreth and Rachel Caroline Sanders; his nephew Darrell Knox; Peggy McGarity. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
