It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Finley Jonah McCoury of Hildebran, North Carolina, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jefferson and Lissie Cornett McCoury Finley. He is survived by: his sons, James McCoury (Judy) of Hildebran and Bruce McCoury of Hickory; his grandchildren, Bryan McCoury, Denise Ballard and Christopher Smith; his great grandchildren, Kasey, Kate, Palmer, C. J., Nolan and Nixyn; and his brother Richard Jones (Dianne) of Spartanburg, SC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
