He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Rudolph and Carrie Lupton Lewis; his siblings, Lynn, Roy Lewis and Ann Lewis; and his daughter Penelope "Penny" Ann Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Ronda Lewis; his son Freddie R. Lewis, Jr. (Ghersal); and his siblings, Allen Lewis and Phyllis Price. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home (52 Bryant St, Grantsboro, NC 28529). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
