She was predeceased by : her father Robert Shuford; her husband Ralph Lee Rhodes; her children, Gary Rhodes and Teresa Painter; and her grandson Phillip Rhodes.
She is survived by : her sons, Gerald Rhodes (Cynthia) of Lincolnton, Jeffrey Rhodes (Sherry) of Lincolnton, Mike Rhodes of Lincolnton and Sammy Rhodes (Fay) of Lincolnton; her niece Clair Caskey; and her close friend Wayne Johnson. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
