She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Laney and Faye Poarch Laney; her husbands, Melvin Eugene Lail and Dexter Bolick; and her siblings, Ploma Chester, Ruby Cannon, Gloria Chaddock and James W. Laney.
She is survived by: her son Michael Lail (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Jessica Beane (Scott) and Houston Beane; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Cannon, Rosie Lail and Mabel Laney. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
