It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Haas (Hudson, North Carolina), who passed away on April 2, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, John Edgar and Viola Miller Haas; his wife Melba Greene Haas; his siblings, Ruth Havnear, Virgie Bumgarner Myers, Eunice Squires, Parks Haas and Ethel Arney; and his nephews, Alan Squires and Harold Paul Haas.
He is survived by : his children, Anita M. Haas of Hudson and Keith A. Haas of Hudson; his grandsons, Toby Keith Haas and Tory Ray Haas of Lenoir; and his siblings-in-law, Allene B. Haas of Lenoir, C. T. Greene (Joleen) of Hudson, Shirley Herman (Carl) of Hudson and Glenda Little of Stafford, Virginia. He is also survived by eleven nieces, four nephews, and many cousins, extended relatives, and friends.
