He was predeceased by: his brothers, Kenneth Elmore and Ronnie Elmore. He is survived by: his wife Willie Mae Anderson Elmore; his stepchildren, Larry James Benge of Lenoir, Peggy Greene (Richard) of Hudson and Tammy Warren (Ken) of Hudson; and his sisters, Kay Johnson of Wilkesboro and Carolyn Sparks of Ferguson. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
