He was predeceased by : his parents, John Floyd Ekard and Sadie Austin Ekard; his daughter Sharon Campbell; and his sister Martha Ekard Greene. He is survived by : his wife Pearl Ekard (Cricket); his son David Ekard (Crystal); his grandchildren, Leah Ekard (Weston Ferguson), Lucas Ekard, Ben Campbell, Kaylee Austin (Justin) and Megan Campbell; his great grandchildren, Brayden Austin and Paislee Austin; his son-in-law Jeff Campbell; and his siblings, Tommy Ekard (Brenda), Roger Ekard (Vivian), Boyd Ekard (Debbie), Alvin Ekard (Lea), Julia Kay Smith and Reba Coffing (Carl). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
