She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Lowrance and Aggie Lowrance; her husband Thomas Edwin Townsend; and her granddaughter Vickie Ann Helton. She is survived by: her children, Charles Townsend, Teressa Benfield (David), Sherrie Thurston (Mike), Bedford Townsend, Elden Annas (Jeff) and Laird Townsend; and her grandchildren, Amy, Angel, April, Chuck, Crystal, Dawn, Holly, Melinda, Miranda and Shelley. She is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
