She was predeceased by : her parents, Hoyt Roosevelt Belk and Bessie Seymour Belk; her husband John Woodley Wallace, Sr.; her sister Nelle Bates; and her granddaughter Heather Wallace Bridwell.

She is survived by : her children, John Woodley Wallace, Jr. (Shelby) of Huntersville, Myra Wallace Billings (Steve) of Huntersville and Elizabeth Wallace Koroskenyi (Tom) of Salisbury. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
