She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence McGee and Betty McGee. She is survived by: her husband Clint Ballard; her sons, Bobby Walling (Jessica) of Roswell, GA and Jonathan Walling (Tiffany) of Monroe, NC; her stepchildren, Brittney Ballard and Racheal Ballard (Quinn); her grandchildren, Logan, Whitney, Jack, Fallon, Leo, Elliot and Binny-Lee; and her siblings, Betty Lynn Slappey (David), Terrie Hogue, Mary Kirksey and Ernie McGee (Wendy). She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the James Funeral Home (10520 Arahova Dr, Huntersville, NC 28078).
