With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Rose Sacek (Huntersville, North Carolina), born in New York, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2024 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rose and Kurt. She is survived by : her husband Robert Sacek; her children, Tommy Sacek (Rachel), Michael Sacek, Richard Sacek (Debbie) and Donna Sacek Babb (Rick); and her grandchildren, Austin (Anna), Matthew (Abigail), Critter (Lexi) and Jacob.

A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Saint Mark Catholic Church (14740 Stumptown Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078-9569).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
