We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2023, at the age of 70, Patricia Barr Vanhoy (Huntersville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Torrence Lloyd Barr; her husband Joel Vanhoy; her daughter Beth (Elbert Harmon); and her siblings, Steve Barr and Jane Richardson.

She is survived by : her sons, Charles "Chuck" Rodden (Chris) of Charlotte and Randall Richardson (Stacey) of Belmont; her grandchildren, Dakota Richardson and Zoe Richardson; her siblings, Stephanie Foster (Craig) of Ferguson, NC and Dale Barr of Gastonia, NC; her aunt Louise Shaver (Neal) of Waxhaw, NC; and her niece Wendy Richardson (Buck) of Pageland, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“Trish is one of the greatest women I've ever known. It was an honor to call her my "other mother" and for Tori and Maddi it was a blessing to have her as their Maw Maw. She was strong, caring, loving, generous; a beautiful soul. Family was everything to her. She was a friend and a confidant as well as a step mom and had my back at times no one else did.
